Born and raised in South Jersey, I have harbored a lifelong obsession for colonial North America thanks to my frequent outings to places like Philadelphia and New York. I am primarily interested in indigenous history, environmental history, and the French Atlantic World, with a particular geographic focus on the borderlands of New France and New England. Questions of identity and power are the driving force behind my investigations into the complex web of relations between the French, British, and indigenous peoples of North America.
