History Club

​The goal of this organization is to assist fellow students in research, enhance our own analytical skills, and promote the appreciation of history within the student body of the University of Delaware. Membership is open to all full-time, matriculated undergraduate students at the University of Delaware who agree with the purpose and object of the group. Visit the History Club website to learn more.

History Club Meetings are held weekly on Thursdays from 5:00-6:00 pm in room 006 Williard Hall.

​The History Club promotes the appreciation of history by volunteering at historical organizations and visiting museums throughout the area.  We will discuss many interesting stories and issues that still stand the test of time.  Throughout the semester we will have several guest speakers that will showcase the multiple career avenues with an interest in history.

​We organized the Constitution Panel - A Conversation on the Past, Present & Future of the Constitution & Delaware featuring prominent faculty and policymakers in a riveting discussion on the policies of the past and the future. This event will hopefully ensure that students, faculty, staff, and community do not forget the lessons of history in solving the problems of today.
